At this conference we explore all things metaphysical: healing, divination, energy work, manifestation, spiritual practices, folklore, and all the many parts of the whole that make up life.
While modern culture officially discounts the “paranormal”, individuals, event by “inexplicable” event, discover that even in the modern computer-driven world, other tools and methods work, have worked in the past, and will serve us now: dowsing for water, minerals or disease, healing with the energy our bodies and spirits create, communicating to beings we cannot see, learning about things beyond the range of our senses, having physical effects on things with which we have no physical contact.
For decades we’ve struggled to reconcile the reality of our personal experiences with the wholesale rejection of anything to do with spirit by the modern scientific paradigm; we seek evidence that we’re not foolish, gullible, or deluded. It’s no longer satisfying just to try to prove to ourselves and other doubters that these things are real, we have seen that they are. Now we want to know how to make them work for us- how to help us heal our selves and our friends, how to find the most effective use of our talents and energies, how to make the world a better place, how to live in harmony with the beings around us whether the people and animals who share our world, or the spirits for “other worlds”.
This year our Theme is Communication: Communication with other worlds and other entities: God/gods, ancestors, ghosts, angels, guides, totems, and other beings. Communication by unusual means: telepathy, automatic writing, prophesy, channeling…. Communication between groups who may sometimes have difficulty communicating, those with differing world views or religious beliefs, genders and ages. Communication with our bodies and inner selves.
Join us in a weekend of workshops and panels covering healing, divination, religion and spirituality, energy use, and (dare we say) magic? As beings of spirit and body, it’s time to stop dreaming about our non-physical abilities and learn to use them: safely, ethically, responsibly, and practically.
